Samhain draws near again... and All Saints follow. After that, the long winter sets in. Long talks on long nights. Winter solstice, snow and cold.
Autumn offers sunsets like no other time of year, it seems. This image is from the 30th.October last year. For a few instants, the sky lights up and burns with colour as if to compensate for the lack of light during the following months.
I took this last October at this time of the month, when Halloween draws near. In the Celtic tradition, it is called Samhain. The fiery skies offer a beautiful display of their best colours before the winter erases them.
